This child-only class begins with a warm-up of breathing and some poses. Then, it's up to the kids where we "go." It could be an adventure to the beach or even Outer Space. We may decide to train like superheroes or explore prehistoric times.
Music and games are part of every class, as is breathing and focus/concentration activities. Class ends with quiet time - "savasana."
The class is designed for children ages four through 12. Older kids are welcome, too! No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Class on hiatus thru summer months

This infant-centered class is as much for the mom/caregiver as it is for baby! No, babies aren't jumping into tree pose or doing Sun Salutation, but through songs and rhyming - along with breath and movement - we are introducing the babies to a lifelong practice and bonding all the while.
Simply being present while the adult is practicing yoga, linking movement and breath, can have a profound impact on babies.
This class is geared toward babies as young as six weeks to not-yet-walking toddlers. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Tuesdays 11 a.m. at British International School
Using simple animated poses, energetic games, music and breathing exercises, we strengthen coordination and build body awareness.
We'll bring our poses to life by barking like a dog, hissing like a cat, slithering in our cobra or flying our airplanes. We'll take a yoga journey and create memories for caregivers, parents and children, alike.
This class is geared toward the strong walker through four years, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Tweens & Teens
Aside from its physical benefits, yoga teaches tweens and teens techniques for coping with the unique issues they're faced with every day - insecurity about their changing bodies, pressure to fit in, stressful schedules, and uncertainty about their beliefs and their futures.
On a physical level, yoga helps them excel in other sports - it improves balance, strength and stamina, and stretches (not stresses) them out!
Tween and teen classes include breathing exercises, hard poses, partner poses and concentration games. The classes incorporate the elements of teamwork and trust, handling emotions, effective communication and problem-solving.
This class is perfect for children and young adults, ages 11 - 17. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
